Reason No. 328 NOT to Run in the Dark

and

I am a clutsy girl. I run into things, I fall down, and sometimes people might think I'm drunk when I'm 100% completely sober. So as I was running the other morning and totally BIT IT on the sidewalk, it really shouldn't have come as a surprise. Thankfully, no one was around to see the comical event (unlike when I fell on the treadmill at the gym. Yep, it was just as embarrassing as you think). If you run, have you ever fallen during a run? Or do you fall when you are walking? Please make me feel better here, folks.
Let's also say that doing Level 2 of The Shred that night was NOT a great idea. (Hello, plank jacks). Speaking of Level 2, I definitely agree that it is much harder than Level 1 (duh, Holly!). Surprisingly it's the cardio that is more challenging than the strength - I thought it'd be the other way around. My FAVORITE part is towards the end, when Jillian yells, "I WANT YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'RE GOING TO DIE." It just makes me giggle. Love you, Jill.

Thank you for all of your sweet comments about my run! They all made me feel so good, and it's so fun to share this stuff with you guys. You made my day!

I've fallen on the treadmill before. Nothing is funnier than seeing a 6'7" dude eat shit on the treadmill. If it hadn't hurt so bad I would have been laughing my ass off...

Ah sorry about your fall! You are right, I could not imagine doing that Shred with bruises like that! I fell on my butt from ice right before I was going down into the subway. So many people saw, horrible!

Lol! I have never fallen during a run, but that is one of my biggest fears!! I was just thinking about that the other day when I was running on a trail that was really rocky...I was so sure I was going to fall!!

Plank jacks?? I have only done level 1 of the shred...those sound quite interesting! I think I am going to have to be bold and go for level 2 sometime soon...

oh my! so sorry about your fall! I fall all the time - sometimes when going up/down the stairs, but mostly just walking around, i think its bc i drag my feet when I walk

I love it when Jillian shouts out those things too! I swear THAT'S what makes me work myself harder :)

And aww I hope you heal up okay. No worries, I fall down frequently too. While walking. At least you have the excuse of moving fast in the dark, hehe.

oh, my gosh- I have so much in common with you. I totally fall down and trip all the time for no reason. Just got into the blogging world and I've really enjoyed yours so far. Thanks for sharing!

briankainec - omg, I should stop complaining! Don't hate me, but I did somewhat giggle when I picture this in my head. Only because I'm picturing my fall, too, which was hysterical and humiliating all at once. :-)

Missy - that is the WORST, when you know everyone sees you and they all give you the "are you okay? that SUCKS" pity looks. That is usually when I quickly run away somewhere.

eatingfree - the plank jacks are killer! Well, they are getting better now, but the first time I did Level 2 I thought Jillian should marry the plank pose because it's seriously in every circuit. Let me know if you try it!

peaceandbutter - thanks for stopping by! I fall when I walk, too - what is my DEAL?! My friends/family know to just be prepared when I'm walking around them now. lol.

Sagan - COMPLETELY agree. She gets me amped up when she yells like that. Especially early in the morning because I am SO not a morning gal. :-)

Lesley - isn't falling UP the stairs horrible? I did that the first day of school, sophomore year in high school. I was absolutely petrified! Thankfully my friends were there to laugh with me.

Erica - I didn't even think about that! See, that's why I can't teach; I would be too busy falling. ;-)

healthy ashley - hahaha, thanks! You are so sweet. Pale and bruised, but I guess they could look worse...right?

angiesappetite - thanks for visiting! I will check out your bloggie, as well. SO glad to know I'm not the only clutz out there...it's funny at times but other times I wish I could just be normal. ;-)

That also describes me. Sorry you fell. :(
