Just wait and see what happens.

I need a decent amount of protein to keep me full at breakfast- I aim for 10-15g minimum so usually oatmeal + PB doesn't cut it. I love parfaits made with greek yogurt, fruit and bran flakes. Cottage cheese, banana and granolais pretty good too. I think my most filling breakfast is Greek yogurt, pumpkin, mini shredded wheat and peanut butter drizzled on top. The protein/fibre/fat combo can't be beaten (and my breakfast needs to hold me for about 7 hours)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3813133303612821256.post-64044561981965875602009-07-16T20:58:51.607-07:002009-07-16T20:58:51.607-07:00Hi, I just came across your blog. Ac...About a year and a half ago I had a colposcopy. Actually, I've had two. The first came back negative. The second came back positive and I had cervical dysplasia. I had a LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure) done to remove the infected tissue. It's definitely unsettling because of the possible implications, but you will be surprised at how many people have had this done. If you have any questions at all please email me!

As for breakfast, that's a toughie. I find a breakfast cookie with yogurt and fruit on top to be pretty filling. Like some others suggested, adding a hard boiled egg may be the added kick of protein you may need. I'm not a big meat eater, so I've been using Optimum Nutrition 100% whey protein (milk chocolate!) to add to my daily intake. If I'm in a rush I'll just add it to milk, but if I have a few minutes to spare I'll blend it with a banana, frozen strawberries, and milk for a yummy smoothie. It's filling!Kristen Mullanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06939786945424346906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3813133303612821256.post-74100048419409319872009-07-16T10:33:04.192-07:002009-07-16T10:33:04.192-07:00*hugs* I hope everything goes will with your tests...*hugs* I hope everything goes will with your tests!!

I love yogurt messes with fruit, high fiber cereal, greek yogurt and peanut butter!Peanut Butter Swirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07358744746285111542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3813133303612821256.post-35814649793143864042009-07-16T09:34:01.706-07:002009-07-16T09:34:01.706-07:00Hope everything is okay!

I just take 1/2 cup egg beaters and microwave them for 1.5 - 2 minutes in a tuperware container that's a similar size to a slice of bread. Then I take a reduced fat slice of cheese and the eggs and put it in between two slices of ww bread. Keeps me full until lunch.

I don't really like oatmeal that much. So today I changed things up and made scrambled eggs using one whole egg and 1/2 cup egg whites. I threw in some green bell pepper and seasoning salt for flavor. I also toasted a piece of cinnamon raisin Ezekiel bread, topped with some almond butter and sliced bananas. We shall see how that holds me over... I'll let you know. It's more protein than the oatmeal so hopefully it'll do the trick.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00082536183912603694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3813133303612821256.post-17362077740521856442009-07-16T09:00:16.993-07:002009-07-16T09:00:16.993-07:00When strength training you need more protein in yo...When strength training you need more protein in your diet. It is painful but only for 5 seconds so don't worry too much!Hopefully everything will be okay.

I find that oatmeal is not always that filling too. I would suggest adding protein but you already add peanut butter. Omelets are the most filling breakfast for me but I can only make them on weekends! I have to admit, it was not the most enjoyable experience.

I have switched a bit with my breakfast in the past few months. I do overnight oats some times, but I also have really come to enjoy taking an Ezekiel English muffin, toasting it and doing 1 of two things:
Cooking some egg beaters with a laughing cow cheese wedge in the microwave. Add to EM, eat like an amazing Egg McMuffin.

or

keep the halves separate and add some PB to one half and some butter (love the Earth Balance) to the other.

Both of these keep me quite full, especially the one with the egg!

Happiness AwaitsFitzalanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06103305311280604949noreply@blogger.com
